H.A. # 183-? April 1-14, 2007

183- April Fool's Day!

184- Love this phrase!

185- (Deep into the nasty-feeling part of this cold..)

186- a bit of a reprieve & I felt better.
This is called "Watch out for this guy! He's after your wallet!"

187- A sort of wrinkled vase of daisies...

188- 'Been watching the planet earth series...

189- Feverish, bored & uninspired

190- Made after I got onto some antibiotics.
The background was made before...

191- Same as above. I have been in fron t of the TV too long!

I swore I would not do this, but it can't be helped. On April 1, I came down with a cold, made card #183--then I got sicker & sicker. For a couple of days I maintained, felt better--kept making cards, but not getting them published. By Friday the 7th, I thought I was much better. The next day I even remember laughing & figuring I had "kicked it". By that evening, I had a fever that would not go down all weekend, into Monday, when I suspected I had an infection, but took no notice , figuring it to be a bad cold. Then, at 4Am Tuesday, I woke with a 101.5 degree fever (with my normal being at 97.7 degrees). I was very ill. I went to the hospital and they said I had pnuemonia. Now I am better & I am catching up. but I am still several cards behind. I never wanted to do it this way, but there were days when all I could do is make a background, which I finished later.
To commemorate my revival, I made this one below #192-" I Have Not Been Myself Lately!" I'm still coughing, but improving by inches & ready to make more art!

H.A. #182- Spring is here without Jesus Christ or the Easter bunny!

3/31/07
I have blooming cherries, asparagus coming up in my garden, raspberrry sprigs taking off & blue flowers- that I can't remember the names of- everywhere in my garden. No religion, no "I'm right & you're wrong," no nothing but nature exhurting her influence one more time---Spring has come! Think of that when you are sucking on that chocolate egg!

H.A. #181- Nature

3/30/07
Take a hike does not imply getting out of my face or anything else. It simply means that if we keep our hearts open & spend time outside our boxes and cubicles, we might learn something from nature & each other. Be open.

H.A. #180- I don't know what to call it but has layers upon layers.

3/29/07

H.A. #179- Life is puzzling

3/28/07

H.A. #178- Very odd juxtaposition, with and without legs.

3/27/07

H.A. #177- Cheese! The Orange Philo cat!

3/26/07
Philo, my three legged cat likes cheese. This is his proifile even though he is a gray stripey tabby. This is what he llooks like when he is hungry & I am ignoring him. He puffs and says "oof, oof!" If I am not careful, he will pee on a carpet. I love him dearly, but I would like to talk to a psychic to get a grip on his mind, which is very warped.....

H.A. #176- CAT- red cat

3/25/07

Red Cat looks like a rabbit!

H.A. #175- Phillipe, le chat noir!

3/24/07
I have a black cat names Phillipe that sometimes looks this way to me. He's fuzzier but the big round eyes are always present. Here he looks like he's just seen a dog.

H.A. #174- Say that 3 times quickily- Hundertwasser!

3/23/07
I do not know what this was about. Probably a good thing. I used a Zettiology stamp. a cut-out of an armchair, probably Georgian, and covered it with a fram including a piece of a Hundertwasser painting froma postage stamp. All of that on a playing card-remarkable!

H.A. #173- A Collage of very little brain- Good!

3/22/07

H.A. #172- Gran was a fine lady

3/21/07
Actually this was not my grandmother. I like the idea of this one, though.
My family, on both sides has and had a boycott on cuddling and joyful smiles. It was a generational thing that I have broken with a SLEDGEHAMMER! So I guess this could be me in years to come. A welcoming smile and a very long and hardy embrace.

H.A. #171- Flying Goddess

Okay, Today I have 10 to upload because I got very far behind. I made this one on May 20th-- the day before my 26th wedding anniversary. So from this point on, I will date them for the date made. Ignore the date posted. I am posting as fast as I can today!!!
This one was made around a postage stamp I love. It is a flying goddess. If anyone knows her name, let me know! I have seen her on Japanese, Chinese and Korean stamps. She's lovely!
Maybe I'll pretend she is the Goddess of Long, Happy Marriages!
