H.A. #233- Ode to Hundertwasser

One of my very favorite artists of all time. I collect his postage stamps because he made the art for the postage stamp and so it is like having some of his original art, like it was intended. Plus, he was a facinating human being: an environmentalist, architect and designer of the New Zealand Koru flag even though he was born in Austria.

I altered this clipping with colored pencils and found, while working this picture, that this woman was extraordinarily beautiful to me. This was the only word I could think of.

I was given the idea for doing cards with all rubber stamps by a challenge swap and so this is when I began it. I need to mail the one I will decide to send by the 15th.
